Copper Tripeptide-1
GHK-Cu
The signature copper peptide of the Hot Peps system. Recovery + radiance.
What it is
GHK-Cu is a small copper-binding peptide composed of three amino acids (glycine, histidine, lysine) bound to a copper ion. It is one of the most-cited signal molecules in cosmetic chemistry literature and the molecule the entire Hot Peps system is organized around. Its distinctive blue tint comes from the copper complex itself — the same blue you see on the shelf in the Eye Serum bottle and the Blue Copper Recovery Mask™.
